The adidas adiFOM Q was quick to court controversy when it was initially revealed in June. Drawing ire from Ye (formerly known as Kanye West) for its similarity to his popular Yeezy Foam Runner, the adiFOM Q was actually reportedly inspired by the adidas Quake – a model originally released in 2001. Regardless of the model’s much-publicised progenitor, Team Trefoil continue to roll out fresh colourways of the eccentric model, the latest ‘Halo Blue’ iteration expected to land later this month.
Manufactured with a sock-like bootie made from breathable Primeknit, the silhouette is accented by a lightly padded tongue and ribbed collars. The exterior is built with a mix of lightweight EVA and is emblazoned with dynamic lines for breathability.
