Adicup Football Final
The nine-a-side football tournament reached its thrilling climax this past weekend at adi’s HQ in Herzogenaurach, Germany. The four regional champions - Metalheadz United (London), Diner Old Boys (New York), C.A Real Tokyo (Tokyo) and Team Andreas Muehe (Berlin) – slugged it out for street soccer supremacy! Along with a dazzling display of champagne football from all the participants, attendees were also treated to the adidas World Cup team day at the HQ that included live music, delectable food, games and even wildlife all with an African theme in honour of the current World Cup in South Africa.
Following on from victory in the first semi-final over Metalheadz, Team Andreas Muehe went on to prevails at adiCup 2010 with a hard fought 3-1 victory over C.A Real Tokyo, who had previously won their semi against the Diner Old Boys from New York, 7-1.
The win earns Team Andreas Muehe, adiCup 2010 champions, a trip to the World Cup Final in Johannesburg on July 11th.
