A-COLD-WALL* Reveal Converse Aeon Active CX Collaboration
Teaming up for the first time since 2020, Samuel Ross’ and are now linking-up for a rendition of the newly-debuted Aeon Active CX. Hot on the heels of their recent Dr. Martens collaboration, A-COLD-WALL* are again installing their signature industrial palette, this time on a laceless performance model.
Featuring silver panelled mesh, the utilitarian aesthetic is further emboldened by the seasonal ACW branding on the uppers (somewhat reminiscent of signature Helvetica typography). Down below, an oversized teal midsole – perhaps utilising Nike’s eco-conscious Grind Rubber – no doubt steals the limelight, with A-COLD-WALL*s minimalist branding represented in black and yellow.
Elsewhere, large heel and tongue tabs add a particular tech-wear vibe, a characteristic emblematic of Nike’s broader CX range. Finally, the collars are enlivened by muted tangerine hues.
