A Closer Look at Travis Scott’s Alternate Air Jordan 1
His account may be out of commission for the time being, but we know is never too far from the headlines – especially when it comes to sneakers. With the recent unveiling of the music video for his latest single featuring M.I.A. and Young Thug, we caught a glimpse of an intriguing alternate version of his sought-after collaboration. Little was known about the new build, but that hasn’t stopped leakers from getting their hands on speculative samples of the pair.
Coming through via oneeightyair, these latest shots give us a closer look at what appears to be a sample of the pair seen in the MV. Not your typical Air Jordan 1, this collaborative version features reverse/alternate colour-blocking compared to Travis’ previously released pair. The upper features a white leather base, while brown hits the toe box. The trademark touches are also present, such as the signature backward black Swooshes on the lateral sides, as well as Cactus Jack branding on the heels.
At this point, we still know very little about these Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 samples, or even whether this leaked pair is 100 per cent legit. One thing’s for sure, though – they’d have hypebeasts frothing if they ever released.
