43einhalb Celebrate 10th Anniversary with adidas ZX 10000 ‘Joint Path’
are continuing to celebrate their 10th year in business as premier sneaker and streetwear slingers from Germany to the world, announcing a new collaboration with on the .
‘As huge fans of the four- and five-digit ZX series, we quickly realized that there’s barely a style that provides more material layers to represent a journey in all facets than the ZX 10000,’ said 43einhalb in their announcement post.
And the retailer has certainly made full use of the multi-layered build of the ZX 10000 to express the ‘Joint Path’ that’s informed their journey so far. The predominately grey and beige colourway with colourful accents is largely drawn from the environment surrounding 43einhalb’s native Germany. Grey represents the urban settings of the store, while beige references the sand and mountains encountered on cross-country trips. Blue naturally means water and, most interestingly, green a niche nod to the grass lining the German Autobahn mega highway.
The colab is also personalised with 43 stitched into one heel, while a ‘Joint Path’ signet combining the adidas Trefoil and the fleur-de-lis of Fulda is emblazoned on the tongues.
