424’s Air Foamposite and Nike Reworks Are Wild

LA-based brand have enjoyed a meteoric rise since their 2015 debut, entrenching themselves within the Cali fashion community and beyond. Over the past few hours, they’re now back dominating newsfeeds thanks to a pretty striking unveiling at Paris Fashion Week that includes artistic reworks of product and a shrouded .
Football was a strong presence at the latest 424 show, and founder Guillermo Andrade has been on record stating the sport always had a large presence in his life. The collection consisted of a swathe of pieces inspired by iconic jerseys, including Ronaldo’s iconic 1998 Brazil kit. However, what caught everyone’s attention was the custom white Air Foamposite that has been adorned with a boot-like shroud.
Many places have rumoured that this is a collaboration and is connected to the 2026 FIFA World Cup, but Andrade has since stated that this is not an official collaboration with Nike. The designer stated, ‘What I showed today was not a commercial collaboration with Nike – but rather my own artistic interpretations and one-of-one fashion “paintings”. Art, not commercially available product.’
