The Sneakers You’ve Been Sleeping On in 2020
Right now in the sneakersphere, there’s a lot to choose from. And with hype releases getting most of the spotlight, it can be easy to miss some kicks that may deserve a little more attention. So, instead of sulking over those Ls, why not lift your spirits with some subtle heat that’s currently being slept on.
adidas ZX 10.000C
Team Trefoil have been busy reviving their ZX line, and their use of colours has been well worth a look. The ZX 10.000C has already been pushed in multiple mouthwatering iterations this year, blasting us with the perfect mix of new and old. Oddly, they didn’t fly off shelves as quickly as we expected. At a modest price point, these are definitely a slept on shoe. Sneakersnstuff are stocked, so head on over!
NEPENTHES x Reebok Workout Plus Low
A very tasteful collaboration, this link-up between NEPENTHES and Reebok on the Workout Plus had fans in awe. Showing major restraint, the leather upper perfectly complements the hairy suede panel placed along both the lateral and medial sides. Elsewhere, subtle branding sees NEPENTHES scripted along the tongue. These are definitely a ‘if you know you know’ vibe. END. have the black iteration available, so go check it out.
Nike Air Zoom Spiridon Cage 2
The Stussy x Nike Air Zoom Spiridon Cage 2 release was definitely not slept on, flying off shelves in no time at all. Yet it seems that the GR clourways of the Spiridon Cage are sitting. Arguably, some of the general release colourways that have dropped over the past few weeks are just as exciting as Stussy’s renditions. Sneakersnstuff and asphaltgold are stocked. What are you waiting for?
GmbH x ASICS GEL-Nandi 360
It’s unconventional, but it works! The pink and green colour combo used by GmbH on the ASICS GEL-Nandi 360 isn’t something seen on a regular basis, but it’s strangely eye-catching. Another slept on release, these sat around for no good reason! Hit Farfetch as they’ve got pairs right now.
A$AP NAST x Converse Jack Purcell
Now here is a shoe that’ll set you apart from the rest. A$AP Nast sure did his thing on the Converse Jack Purcell Chukka Mid, a rarely seen silhouette. Decking out the upper in bright red mixed with a sparkle flame design, these are a truly fiery drop! Sizes are available now at END.
