Hello Kitty x Nike Air Presto

In 2004, some of the greatest Nike Air Prestos ever would be brought into the world. Set to help Sanrio celebrate an anniversary milestone, Nike would partner up with the brand to create a run of feline-themed Air Prestos designed by Steven Smith. As the story goes, the collaboration was originally intended for an official release, but due to certain reasons ended up being an exclusive Friends and Family release instead.

Hello Kitty x ASICS GEL-Lyte III

In September 2009, ASICS teamed up with Sanrio to deliver two playful iterations of the GEL-Lyte III. Featuring all-over Hello Kitty print underlays, one pair was white and red, the other black and gold. The collaboration was released in a women’s size run and came complete with a specialised collectors bag. It saw a release on the Sanrio webstore, plus their flagship stores at the time, including NYC, San Francisco and Hawaii.

Hello Kitty x ASICS GEL-Lyte Speed

Hello Kitty x ASICS collaborations saw a mega year in 2009. September had a double drop of the ASICS GEL-Lyte III, and closing out the year was the GEL-Lyte Speed, which inarguably went even louder than its earlier counterpart. The pairs featured a palette of hot pink and blue and were adorned with star print along a portion of the midsoles. However, its most notable detail is the Sanrio party happening on the printed underlays, featuring Hello Kitty and a number of her pals!

Hello Kitty x Reebok Instapump Fury

As one of Reebok’s boldest and most iconic silhouettes, it makes sense that fun collaborations reach the Instapump Fury. Over the years, the Instapump has been a canvas for a stack of pop culture collaborations – in 2020, there was the Minions creation, while 2021 saw the Jurassic Park joints! It should come as no surprise that Hello Kitty has also been in on the action, with her own iteration releasing in 2019 – the most prominent features are the bows on the vamp!

Hello Kitty x Vans SK8-Hi

Hello Kitty has a rich history with Vans, and in 2014, they released a summer collection of essentials for the quintessential HK lover. Featuring a total of four pairs – including the Authentic and the Slip-On – the SK8-Hi was the highlight of the group. Featuring partially white fluffy uppers, Hello Kitty’s face can be found on the lateral sides of the pairs.

Hello Kitty x adidas Superstar

Hello Kitty has linked up with adidas to deliver a trio of decorated pairs. With the pack featuring the Forum Low and the Astir, the Superstar is undoubtedly the star of the pack. Featuring mostly white leather across the uppers, Hello Kitty printed graphics can be found on the rear lateral. Polka-dot patterns have also been splashed on the heel panel and outsoles. The pairs’ swing tag and shoebox are also in the spirit of things, which see the sneakersphere’s beloved cat sporting a head-to-toe Three Stripes tracksuit!
