February 14 is the most romantic day of the year. For most, it’s a time to let that special someone know how you feel about them by showering them with grand gestures and amorous gifts. However, for sneakerheads, it can also be a time to cop romantic renditions and intimate iterations of all our favourite kicks!
Every year on Cupid’s holiday, sneaker brands from around the world profess their love for us with pink and red-hued beauties adorned with hearts and made with love. This year was no different, with Nike, adidas and Converse coming through with some heat to warm our soles.

One of the most hyped releases of 2020, the StrangeLove x Nike SB Dunk Low was inspired by Sean Cliver’s love affair with skateboarding. A classic Valentine’s Day release, it featured all-over pink velvet and clean suede. The cute ‘Heart Skull’ insignia on the lateral heel goes along perfectly with the special packaging.

Back in 2013, Jordan Brand used the Air Jordan 5 as their canvas for a Valentine’s Day masterpiece. A Grade School release, it saw a full-leather upper with matte and shiny red making for an unintentional tonal look. Pink hits on the mesh and midsole complement the ‘For the Love of the Game’ logo embroidered on the heel.
