Saucony in the 90s
Fully Loaded
Whether it’s 56k dial-up, futuristic 2G cell phones, Seattle grunge bands, or the Spice Girls phenom, the 90s was fully loaded with intense originality and nostalgic optimism. In keeping with the spirit of the times, Saucony’s decade would be bookended by developments at polar opposites of the spectrum. The debut of the innovative Ground Reaction Inertia Device – aka GRID – offered a blueprint that would define the brand’s foreseeable future. Conversely, a brilliant and highly subversive campaign to reintroduce the Jazz OG under the Saucony Originals banner ensured the brand’s growth soared to supersonic heights. The 90s were all killer, no filler at Saucony!
