Fans of Sneaker Freaker colabs will instantly recognise these shoes. Named the Great White and Black Beast, they were the twin towers that introduced Puma’s Blaze of Glory runner to the world way back in 2007. Another 30 pairs were handmade from genuine shark skin and given away to SF friends and family.
Wrinkly, tough as teak and blacker than the Ace of Spades, shark leather is also exquisitely beautiful. Like many brands, Puma has agreed to stop using exotic animal materials, so it’s likely we will never see their like again. All in all, this was a project we are rightly proud of. We’re also pleased to say that both shoes have stood the test of time remarkably well.

Sneaker Freaker will release the shoes in our webshop on Saturday, November 23rd, whilst the Global in-store release date is Saturday, November 30th.
