It feels like only a week ago that February’s edition of Monthly Mods was posted. Alas! It’s now time to round up the best custom creps of March 2023. Following the past two months of heavy hitters, the past few weeks have hosted a flurry of crisp, bespoke sneakers from all your favourite customisers. This year is already shaping up to be large, not just for physical customs but for artificially created footwear, too.

Below is an eclectic mix of March mods covering a plethora of silhouettes. The sneakersphere has been championing Air Max over the past few weeks, and customisers celebrated with stacks of reworked models that boasted Nike’s seminal Air tech. Stussy’s Air Penny 2 also received a rework, inspired by Japanese tea ceremonies, while the Air Jordan 1 looked aggressive in a Darth Vader-inspired look. Str4ngeThing also came through, flexing a full gallery of Nike sneakers inspired by the Renaissance period.
