From the Sole: Paris Fashion Week SS26 Portraits

From The Sole is a project by photographer Arron Watson-McNab (@awm.photo), built on a mission to document the people, stories, and subcultures that give sneaker culture its soul.

The most recent instalment of the series was created in collaboration with Sneaker Freaker and shot during Paris Fashion Week, shining a light on key figures from around the world – individuals who’ve helped push sneakers beyond fleeting trends and into the realms of community, identity, and legacy. With footwear increasingly at the centre of the cultural conversation, Paris provided the perfect backdrop to capture how sneakers continue to connect fashion and the streets on a global scale.
