Yeezy’s pristine headquarters mightn’t be everything they’re cracked up to be, at least in terms of safety. TMZ is reporting that the brand is under investigation by the Occupational Safety and Health Association, after one worker was in an accident and subsequently airlifted from the Yeezy offices last month.
As TMZ tell it, the accident involved a large 3D printer toppling over and crushing an employee’s foot, injuring it so badly that doctors may have had to amputate. If safety practices are found to have been violated, adidas may have to pay up to $129 thousand USD for every breach.
Meanwhile, official statements are yet to be issued, which makes it hard to get to the bottom of the story. So for now there's no cause to turn down any offers to work for Yeezy — unless, that is, you're The Shoe Surgeon and you have more legitimate reasons.
