Budding sneaker designers, sharpen your pencils and get set for the Project Bluefoot: Intelligent Design Competition, which aims to showcase fresh graphic talent to the athletic footwear industry and the public at large. Each month aspiring designers will be invited to submit work around a different theme or concept, which will be judged by a panel of experts. The inaugural project is to design the Air Jordan XXV, with the judging panel featuring such luminaries as Jordan Design Director D’Wayne Edwards and Senior Footwear Designer Jason Maydon! Submissions will be assessed on three criteria: inspiration, sketches and final rendering. The winner will receive a pair of Air Jordans courtesy of D’Wayne Edwards and Jordan Brand plus other prizes. For more information go to www.project bluefoot.com. Closing date for this month’s round is July 25 so get cracking!
