As far as on foot attention grabbers are concerned the Nike Mercurial and Magista have been pretty much ruling the roost this World Cup. Unless Nike were to put LED lights on their boots, then it's going to be hard to top this year's visibility factor. It didn't just all appear out of nowhere though, the road to 2014 has been a long one for the Mercurial faction of the Nike boot camp, all kicking off in the summer of 1998 when Ronaldo took to the field during the FIFA World Cup wearing the first Tiempo model. Since then we've seen a slew of new editions, each as daring and dashing as the next, they're truly fun to look at (in our opinion). Enjoy the visual feast (in chronological order) above and read about all of them here.
