Phil Knight coming into nearly $2 billion must have him feeling generous, as he’s just honoured Jerry Jones with a very special gift. The Nike founder gave Jones custom Air Force 1s in recognition of the Dallas Cowboys owner’s induction into the Hall of Fame. The shoes have golden canvas overlays with rugged trim, a badge on the heel that says ‘Pro Football Hall of Fame,' and a midsole in crispy white complemented by like-coloured laces.
Clearly stoked with the gift, Jones wore them with a matching sports coat to receive his award. He then followed the event with a party that reportedly cost $16 million – most of which probably went to Justin Timberlake, who serenaded Mr and Mrs Jones with Elvis songs.
