When we received this email from Sneaker junkie, Phillipino along with a mass of images showcasing his art work, we knew we had to get this live on the site, to show all you peeps out there this kid's skills to pay the bills. Using strips of paper or cardboard cutouts as his canvas Phillipino constructs 3D versions of all his favourite sneakers including Nike's Dunkle and De La Soul Dunk, not to mention the Nike Huarache Burst or the Air Jordan IV inspired Dunk.
As Phillipino states "I have been inspired by the works of paper sneaker maker Shin Tanaka and have decided to try my hand at making some paper shoes like he did. After printing out his template and putting it together, I wondered if I can make my own. Here are some of my paper projects, starting with my very first project."
