1994 was a big year for Nike and Brazil. It was the year Nike really got behind football, supporting Ronaldo, Luis Figo and Fabio Cannavaro and setting their sights on becoming the world's biggest football brand. Brazil won the World Cup that year too. They may have been wearing Umbro shirts then but now they're fully kitted in Swooshed-out gear and ready to take back that dazzling trophy. The new 'Nike F.C.' collection pays homage to that '94 Brazilian brilliance, with a couple of Nike F.C. Glory Tees, which harnesses the gold of the trophy in metallic details on both sides of the shirt. There's also a couple of gold-flecked Tiempo 94 models and a Nike N98 jacket emblazoned with Nike F.C.'s Portuguese motto, which translates to 'without risk there is no victory'. The Nike Sportswear Nike F.C. Collection is available now on Nike.com, and will release at select Nike Sportswear retailers beginning April 17.
