Nike’s Investor’s Days was packed with revelations. Not all of them were good, especially not the news that brand’s highly publicised ’50 billion by 2020’ goal wasn’t going to happen, but there’s always a silver lining.
A small mention in a product innovation report notes that Nike will start a program called ‘LeBron Watch’. The initiative will focus on King James’ player exclusive colourways (like that ‘Equality’ pair he wore on opening day) with punters able to order the colourways of Nike SNKRS. At the end of the season, you’ll then be able to vote for which of LeBron’s 15s Nike should bring back. Not a bad deal if you ask us.
