There are few figures in the sneaker industry as influential as Tinker Hatfield. The Swoosh maestro was not only instrumental in the creation of Visible Air and the Air Max line, but is also responsible for some of the most praised Air Jordan models of all time.
In honour of Hatfield's contribution to the Air Jordan legacy and Jordan Brand's contribution to sneaker culture at large, History of New York (HNY) – formerly HEIST NY – is opening its vault for a very special event. Dubbed The Hatfield Museum Exhibit, the event will feature a restock of 30 coveted releases from the past three years, including the 'White Infrared' Air Jordan 6, 'Bordeaux' Air Jordan 7, 'Space Jam' Air Jordan 11 and the 'Ultimate Gift of Flight' Pack. The event will also feature Jordan-inspired artwork from Arielle Kase, with both prints and original artwork up for grabs.
The Hatfield Museum Exhibit is going down at 10am on February 4 at HNY's White Plains location. Head to their website for the full details.
