There’s been plenty of sneaker buzz during this year’s NBA Summer League, but it’s Zion Williamson’s potential shoe deal that continues hit headlines.
The number 1 overall draft pick is off to New Orleans, but it’s still unclear which sneaker brand the 6 ft 7 prodigy will sign with (the deal is expected to exceed $10 million per year). Zion added further intrigue when he pulled up in the PUMA RS-0 ‘Game Error’ during the NBA Summer League this weekend, perhaps signalling a move to The Big Cat in the coming weeks. Nike are still the projected frontrunners, but expect PUMA to continue to try and woo the nuclear talent in what would be the biggest deal in PUMA basketball history.
