ADIDAS YEEZY BOOST 350 V2 ZEBRA RESALE PRICES PLUMMET
Increased production runs and an influx of Yeezy restocks are to blame for a dramatic decrease in adidas Yeezy BOOST V2 resale prices. The global release of the ‘Zebra’ colourway, once considered the rarest of all Kanye’s adidas colabs, has brought the sneaker’s price on the secondary market down from more than $3000 to as low as $550.
BESPOKEIND CREATE A SUPREME X LOUIS VUITTON X NIKE AIR MAX 1
Celebrating the launch of the uber-luxurious Supreme x Louis Vuitton collection, the talented footwear aficionados at BespokeIND got in on the colab action with their own carefully crafted ‘what if’ interpretation of a Supreme x LV Nike Air Max 1.
ADIDAS’ NMD_R1 JAPAN PACK IS FINALLY RELEASING
After months of waiting, it seems adidas are finally set to treat BOOST fiends to the release of the so-called NMD_R1 ‘Japan Pack’. Comprising all-black and all-white make-ups of the original nomad with contrast branding, official images of the duo have leaked, along with a rumoured August release date.
THE NEW BALANCE 574S MAKES ITS OFFICIAL WORLDWIDE DEBUT
First revealed with a friends and family exclusive colourway, followed by a limited collaboration together with Ronnie Fieg and Dover Street Market, New Balance’s 574S made its official worldwide debut on July 15 in two make-ups inspired by the design of NB’s shoe box design during the 90s.
YEEZY MAFIA RANK THE RAREST BOOST 350 V2S
Shedding some light on the true rarity of Yeezy BOOST 350 V2 colourways, renowned leakers Yeezy Mafia published a chart comparing production numbers of each V2 releases. It’s alleged the chart was constructed from sensitive information sourced from within adidas HQ.
A LACELESS AIR VAPORMAX EMERGES
A new version of Nike’s big-bubble Air VaporMax has emerged that seems to replace traditional laces with an elasticised mid-foot strap. It remains unclear whether the sneaker is a new design in the pipeline or simply the work of a crafty customiser.
PARIS ICON COLETTE TO CLOSE AFTER 20 YEARS IN BUSINESS
After 20 years at the forefront of footwear, fashion and design, Parisian retail icon Colette announced they will be closing their doors December 20. The decision was made in response to the store’s founder and namesake, Colette Rousseaux, decision to retire. According to the store’s statement, ‘colette can not exist without Colette.’
KANYE IS RELEASING CUSTOM YEEZYS FOR KIDDIES
Kim Kardashian took to Instagram to reveal that fashion-conscious parents with more money than sense will soon be able to purchase pairs of the ‘Triple White’ Yeezy BOOST v2 for their mini hypebeasts. The sneakers come pre-scribbled on by a 10-year-old named Harlow.
RARE, AUTOGRAPHED AIR JORDAN 7S HIT THE MARKET
An extremely rare pair of autographed ‘Cardinal’ Air Jordan 7s has gone under the hammer. Owned by former Gatorade VP and Olympic javelin medallist Bill Schmidt, the pair is not only autographed (twice!) but was also worn on-court by His Airness during the 92-93 NBA season.
A$AP ROCKY SIGNS TO UNDER ARMOUR
In response to Under Armour’s ongoing difficulty breaking into the lucrative fashion-focused footwear market, the sportswear brand has signed A$AP Rocky to helm UA’s lifestyle division.
