The world's largest sneaker marketplace, GOAT, has hired their first female COO — Lizzie Francis — in a shift for the giant retailer.
This move has been noted as a strategic one for GOAT, who are flipping the script on what is often seen as the traditional attitude of a culture towards women shoppers.
Francis’ appointment comes after GOAT’s acquisition of Flight Club and $60 million in new funding, which sees them chase the female market by making the shopping experience more friendly, attractive and seamless.
