Talented sneaker artist Ghica Popa, who's work has adorned the Sneaker Freaker cover and distinguished member of our best sneaker artists list, has left the isolation of space and grounded his latest sneaker muses. In a new five print series, Ghica morphs five of his favourite New Balance colabs into cartoon machinery. Our very own Tassie Devil 998 becomes a robotic version of the endangered namesake; the Kith 'Daytona' 1600 opens up for a pool party; The Concepts C-Note 998 turns into a cash machine that loves making it rain, the West NYC MT580 is a snowmobile; and the LaMJC x Undefeated x Colette MT580 becomes, well we don't quite know what that is but the robots playing football seem to be having fun. Well done, Ghica! Check his website for more dope work.
