Along with his love of skateboarding and extreme sports, Block is now delving deeper into Gymkhana, boldly advertising DC every step of the way. For those unaware of what Gymkhana is – it’s an automotive sport that takes place on an open tarmac area such as a parking lot or old airfield, and requires drivers to push their limits of car control and unlock their true abilities while skillfully maneuvering their cars around a series of cones, slaloms, 180-degree turns, 360-degree turns, figure eight turns or other obstacles using extreme acceleration, braking, and drifting.
Riding on the success of the first Gymkhana Practice video that grabbed the attention of over 20 million viewers worldwide Gymkhana Two was produced this past weekend to showcase Block’s TeamWorks Collection. The new video is filled with insane driving stunts, surprises, explosions, and a guest appearance from DC team rider, Rob Dyrdek. Filmed at the Port of Los Angeles, you can expect non-stop motor sport eye-candy as Block hits the all-new course in a custom-tuned, high performance, Subaru Impreza WRX STI. Created to honour Block for all of his achievements, the apparel collection features two pairs of sneakers (Block Spartan High and Block Manteca 3), a reversible windbreaker, t-shirt, sweatshirt and hat.
