Last week, Converse unveiled a slice of their Spring 2014 collection in Big Bad Bangkok and we were lucky enough to head over to scope it all out. The Chuck Taylor line will see a serious colour injection, with Converse putting a big push on creativity across the board. The 1970s Chuck is making a comeback in a flurry of colours and patterns true to their original release era with some premium treatments, ladies will be served up some wedged renderings, and tie-dyed editions round off the All Star releases. The Cons range is going for heritage flavours fused with tech, and a fleet of new ambassadors are poised to fly the 'Star Chevron' flag in the One Four. We also caught a glimpse of some seriously tasty Jack Purcell renditions, which were perhaps our pic of the pack.
It wasn't all business in BKK though – we tore through the city on a whirlwind trip, hit up some great restaurants and attended a bucket drink fueled buck-wild party with thanks to our awesome hosts. Converse, you rock! Check a quick party recap video courtesy of Streething below and stay tuned for detailed looks and info on each individual drop as their release dates approach.
