We still haven't seen proper juicy shots of the new A$AP Rocky JS Wings 2.0 by Jeremy Scott, but we're steadily getting more intel on the project. Dazed Digital spoke with the globetrottin' rapper from Harlem about how his neighbourhood has embraced more colourful and flamboyant fashion. Jeremy Scott musn't have said anything worth transcribing because his thoughts don't feature in the interview at all, but he does cut an impressive figure in a loud tank top and shorts in the photo gallery. Rocky had some wisdom to impart though, and we were particularly impressed by his humility when it came to leaving fashion designing to the pros.
'I’m always down to collab,' he said, 'but as far as me becoming a professional designer, I don’t even have the ability or the talent. You’ve got to know how to sketch; you’ve got to know your materials. I wouldn’t disrespect the culture like that. I’m just a consumer and a fan, and that's all there is. I’ve got a couple of cool ideas and that's when I collab’, other than that I’m not a fashion designer.'It's refreshing to see a rapper that doesn't think he's the best at everything he touches.
