30,000 TURN OUT FOR LEBRON JAMES’ HOMECOMING
August 15, 2014
In case you live under a boulder (or in Boulder, Colorado – sleepy town that one), you know King James is returning to Ohio to try and bring Cleveland their first championship in 759 years. There was serious heartbreak when he took his talents to South Beach, but it looks like folks back home have forgiven him – as long as he comes good for the Cavaliers, of course. LBJ’s hometown of Akron, Ohio held a massive welcome home party for him, and LeBron seemed pretty pleased with the turnout. I’d be pretty damn nervous with all that expectation but LeBron seemed chilled, that’s why he’s the B-Ball boss. Can he do it, though? We’ll be watching, for now Ohioans are just enjoying this moment, peep the footage above or get the tissues out and savour the longer homecoming coverage below.
