I bought these Wilhelm Bungerts just so I could have the stripey lace thing going on.

I have this plastic dog. It's a child's chair designed by a Finnish designer called Eero Aarnio and when scouring the net the other day I found this artist, Risk, who does bespoke art. The results are below with the lovely Horiss.

Horiss in profile

The Art of Horiss - by Risk

Horiss in aggressive/or passive stance.
BTW it was pretty cheap too - three 16" by 12" canvases for £75
These are "foot for feet" or something like that.
They have a single lace arrangement with the lace secured by one of those spring loaded cord grippers you get on sleeping bag stuff bags et al.
I think I must have got then in about '95. I'm not sure cos all the 90s are a bit hazy for me.
I think they are for running up scree slopes or suchlike - not that there are many scree slopes in London.

Old but not discarded
A lot of what I have bought recently is last years stuff. I found these in the states and as they aren't available in the UK I'm very happy! Sad? Maybe, but I don't really care.

ZXZ Plus Oddity
I've had a bit of a hardcore trainer spurge recently. I have spent hours on Ebay picking up bargains.
Here are the latest arrivals (photographed on my desk at work).

I changed the laces from the purple ones supplied. My girlfriend reckons they're "poppin!"

I reckon a pair (or two) or fat red laces would kick these off. Or maybe a black and red lace in each?

I think these will stay as is. I got the jacket too. I think I may keep them for the Notting Hill Carnival. If you come check KCC and the Rockin' Crew - djkcc.co.uk.
This was a long time ago, I'm nearly 38 now, but it will live with me.
A mate did this book about sneakers and I got photographed by my flatmate in my latest pair. As you can see I was wrapped in cling film in my fridge - but hey I'm dedicated.
Sneaks and Book
Sneaks and Book
Me in the pic
I still love 'em, though they don't get worn any more
I think the book is still on sale, but as a paperback. It's worth trying to find a first edition like the one in the pic above as they had a leatherette cover - nice!
First entry here. I am an Adidas man. (A-deed-ass like Run DMC said it).
I have bought other sneaks.
1. a pair of rifts in 06
2. a pair of Filas in SF in 94
3. a pair of Jordans Vs iin 91
I'll stick my sneaks on as I get the pics done.
