Reebok Shaqnosis (Escape From La)
Of course we were excited when Reebok Classics announced they were bringing back the , we thought the OG colourways would return and maybe some other primary colour switch-ups – we never could have foreseen what Dr Bok really had planned though. There has been a bevvy of Shaqnosis drops moving far beyond basic palettes, with entertaining back stories thrown in too, and this 'Escape From LA' number is the latest and maybe even the greatest. In 2004, after slipping on three championship rings with the Lakers, Shaq wanted a stack of money to stay and LA wouldn't wouldn't prop the paper high enough for him so he took his talents to South Beach. This Shaqnosis depicts the transition, with popping purple holding down the outsole and accents, and splashes of yellow sprayed around the heel. Miami pride is repped with red paint sprays and a straight hard black upper base.
