Opening Ceremony X adidas Originals (Spring 2014)
and adidas Originals reignite their fashion dream team to work on a couple of shoe silhouettes to form part of their collaborative spring 2014 collection. Here we see navy and cream colourways of a special mid-cut Stan Smith that takes the retro tennis sneak and gives it an ancient baseball steez – opting for a stack of eyelets and stitching in place of the perforated Three Stripes. That one is, appropriately, called the 'Baseball', the other piece of the puzzle offers something different, it's a super flexible neoprene silhouette called the Taekwondo SML and it's very slim and very serious.
