The NMD is a laceless interpretation of the internet-melting . With no laces and a snug Primeknit upper, it fits like its namesake. In less aesthetically-capable hands, there's a chance the City Sock may have ended up looking like a neoprene reef bootie. But are experts of the deft touch – the premium black upper paired with a controlled hit of 'Lush Blue' shanks in the heel is a masterclass in restraint.
NMD fans will need to stay caffeinated and keep their trigger fingers on perma-twitch to secure a pair when the next round of the City Socks drop on May 28 at select retailers.
