UPDATE: The Australian Open is officially underway and, as expected, Nike have released this Air Tech duo to tie-in with the occasion. We haven't spied these in stores Down Under just yet, but this pack has started showing up Stateside at select Swoosh stockists, including New Orleans locals  Sneaker Politics.

It's that time of year again, tennis fans! The Australian Open is scheduled to kick off on January 18th and, with it, a new round of tie-in shoes from to mark the occasion. After collaborating with in 2015 to dress-up the for the Grand Slam season (and totally neglecting the land down under in the process. For shame!), the Swoosh have revisited the for 2016. Nike are bringing us not one, but two different takes on the signature kick – one a blend of tonal blues and greys, and the other mixing earthy ochre shades atop a white base. Both designs turn it down a notch from the , which was packed to the brim with nods to Agassi and the legendary tournament, but ooze quality with top notch suede and perforated leather. No confirmation on a release date, but you can expect Nike to serve these up real soon to coincide with the start of the Australian Open, exclusively at Nike quickstrike accounts.
