is not playing around this year, but are digging deep into their archives resurrecting some very select pieces to kick the year off in proper style. This right here, quite simply put is gorgeous! Originally created for the 1992 Barcelona Olympic Games, the Gel Sight breathes victory and sweats style just for fun! Featuring period correct off-white leather, a dabble red leather complements that large heel-bar unit which also rests on a grey nubuck counter – but there is more! Metallic gold form-stripes give this piece of foot-mastery that winning touch, but it's really the large 'World Challenger' emblazoned tongue tags that puts these at the top of the podium. As ASICS were not official sponsors of the Olympics in '92, you will notice no mention or nods to the great games or the rings that symbolise it – sort of one of those official/unofficial grey area situations – and that's why we love these even more.
