Had enough yet fam? We sure as hell haven't! Today has been banger after banger, after banger from Asics, and when you got brands like Nike releasing at minimum a handful of shoes each day, it is awesome to see some of the smaller brands putting in the hard yards. What you have in front of you is two new that will be hitting shelves in the coming weeks. The story behind them is one that hits close to home for the running aficionados, with inspirations coming from the old Japanese proverb, "Tsuru sen-nen, kame man-nen", which translates to "Crane lives for 1,000 years; Turtle lives for 10,000 years". What's this got to do with sneakers you ask? In Japanese culture the Cranes and Turtles are the symbols of long-life and longevity – something Asics and the GL3 know a thing or two about! Neither disappoint either, wrapped in a premium selection of materials, relative colour palettes to their inspirations and a slew of references across the board. No set date has been laid down just yet, but stay tuned to this spot for the rock-solid to come.
