UPDATE: Sneaker Politics have put together a series of detailed shots of the sneaker to get you hyped about next week's release.

Understandably, the Air Jordan IVs have been getting the most shine from the debut , but for many heads the 'Double Nickel' 10s is the pick of the litter. Originally, Tinker Hatfield designed the as a celebration of Michael Jordan's career after his decision to retire in 1993, but with the historic two word press release - "I'm Back" - Chicago's prodigal son returned to the hardwood in March 1995. While the originally released AJX Chicago sported the 23 Michael wore during his first stint with the Bulls, now that Jordan was back on court with his number 45 in tow from his Birmingham Barons days, Nike quickly whipped up a version that matched his new jersey number. Dubbed the 'Double Nickel' after MJ dropped 55 points on the Knicks at MSG wearing the shoe, this unreleased Player Exclusive has been one of the most sought after Jordans in the history of the signature line, regulated to the uber-rare-don't-even-bother-trying list owned only by collectors willing to pay the big bucks. So for the first time, the Double Nickel PEs will be available to the public, sure it's not the real thing, but its the closest most of us will ever get. Dropping March 28 at Jordan Brand accounts worldwide.
