As the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games crept around the corner, Jordan Brand and Nike launched a special extremely limited Air Jordan 1 retro in 2007. A Chinese exclusive and restricted to 250 pairs total, the 'Xi Qing' sent shockwaves out of the motherland as the AJ community desperately tried to acquire these lucky gems. Fast forward to today, and in light of all the Nike initiatives taking place in China recently, the powers above have blessed the sneaker-sphere, slating a July 26-28 re-release through select JB retailers throughout China and at Nike's Shanghai flagship store. Safe to say, these bad boys are set to increase cases of neck-snap-paralysis worldwide if you're lucky enough to get your hands on a pair. Happiness and good fortune, Freakers, happy hunting.
