Again we are pretty late on the uptake, but these are too good to not have a mention. When we saw that it was a dunk on the box, our first reaction was “pfft”. But when we opened the box, we were pleasantly surprised that it was the Tier 0 ‘Destroyers’ Dunk Hi.
As you can already tell, half the shoe is covered in this carpet like material. The last few attempts of Nike using this stuff on shoes ended up being pretty average in my opinion. This time tho, the carpet really compliments the white suede. Something about this Dunk really does it for me.
Could it be the gold lace jewels? Or could it be the massive ‘DESTROYERS’ embossed on the heels? How about the massive commemorative anniversary print on the insole? Maybe the fact that they come with a matching letterman jacket makes me want them more.
