The last few years have seen some amazing collabs, whereby the resulting project takes both brands to another level. But nearly as often collabs can have the appearance of being unfinished or rushed.. perhaps it's the limited resources or unwillingness of a brand to support a concept down to the tiny detail or a collaborator's lack of vision. Either way, in the case of Etnies Plus and design group Write-Left, it's obvious both halves came to the party to produce a very smart looking pack..
Born in Japan and based in Vancouver, Canada, Kenta runs a design company called Write-Left. The portfolio encompasses graphic design, interior design and Write-Left product. Kenta and a friend also run Brknhome, a T-shirt brand known for bold graphic designs. Regardless of what he's working on, Kenta's aesthetic is an infusion of Japanese simplicity and detail with American classic and boldness.
The collab features two models, the Pablo (pictured first) / the Junior and is accompanied by two co-branded tees, marking a strong upcoming year for the more tailored, lifestyle focus of Etnies Plus.
