This Walsh runner owes its life to Sneaker Freaker. Actually, to be more precise, it only exists because vintage hunter Deluded Monkey found a pair that we featured in his column back in Issue 10. A few UK sneaker lovers were so impressed, they decided to resurrect the dormant brand. Long story short, the original version of this lightweight runner was made in Boston around 1976 using ‘offcuts’ of materials that were whacked on a herringbone sole.
