Feet in the northern hemisphere will start feeling the big chill soon, and thin canvas shoes may not be enough to keep the cold away. Vans is making sure its sneakers don't disappear out of sight over winter by launching the Cold Weather Classics range. The new line features Vans favourites the 106 Vulcanized, Era and Mid Skool ‘77 beefed up with warmer materials. These include a water resistant pig suede upper on all three sneakers, with a soft fleece lining also added to the Era and Mid Skool'77 silhouettes. Vans has also released the new Outdoor Switchback, which features waxed laces to repel water and a vulcanised mudguard and gusseted tongue. The Cold Weather Classics are now available at Vans retailers.
