A couple of months back we interviewed Chris Stamp from the widely popular indie footwear brand Stampd'LA and he let rip about a new venture he had on the books called Study Footwear. A lower price point than his fashionistic Stampd'LA silhouettes, Study is somewhat of a passion project for the entrepreneur. Chris states 'the main thing about Study is that it's a product with purpose - not only are we selling shoes, but supporting and inspiring kids in inner cities that don't have proper support systems to get them inspired to be eventually working in a creative field. A portion of all proceeds are allocated to the "Study For Shoes" program, where we make creative supplies for youths around the world. We really wanted to push creativity with this making young kids aware that there is legitimate future in all things creative, whether it be art, music, fashion, design.' The Mode Hi is the first model to be released and serves as a multipurpose kick, whether you like to rock 'em sky high or fold em down for some mid cut madness. Hit the website now for more details.
