As you can see here, we transformed the Cabestan model into an inky black boat shoe complete with premium calf leather, ski-hook lace locks, flecked hiking laces and a minty bumper bar. One of the sweet touches is that each shoe has a tongue crafted from petit piqué cotton, with a woven label and a mother-of-pearl button added as a loving gesture to the Lacoste Polo. In our case, there’s always a wisecrack involved, and if you look closely, you can see that we added the polo collar to the shoe!
