Designed by NYC retailer David Z, comes the Saucony Courageous DZ. The shoe is created from the original Courageous which was introduced back in 1987 as one of the first stability shoes offered in the running market place. These will be done on a limited basis and will be introduced in mid-April. The following is a blurb from Ronnie Feig who works at David Z and created the pack; “my inspiration comes from the heritage that Saucony portrays… I feel like it's time for kids to step out of Nike and into a different range of products. Heritage, style, comfort and quality are the most important traits for any sneaker and if achieved uniqueness is key. The leathers on these shoes are extremely high grade and the Courageous style is something new and very exceptional, different enough for people to take a second look at the brand…I came up with the name “Run Away” for these three shoes cause I feel like Saucony will have a chance to run away from their normalness and step into a new level of fashion and sneaker making.”
