Converse announces the sak for Converse collection.
Converse's most recognisable styles have been given a luxurious makeover thanks to Japanese born, Italian trained craftsman, Ryusaku Hiruma. Using old-world construction techniques, the Chuck Taylor All Star, Jack Purcell, One Star 1974 and the Star Tech high top have been crafted with beautiful, supple leathers and hand stitching. Created in natural shades of tan, off-white and black leather with hand-cut logos and detailing on the shoe's uppers, these finely crafted masterpieces are part of the Converse First String program, the brand's premium tier, with only 64 pairs in each style available worldwide. The Chuck Taylors are available now at select global retailers with the other models to follow throughout the year. These masterpieces retail for $600 - $700USD (ouch) and will be sold exclusively in the United States at: Opening Ceremony and London at Dover Street Market.
