It's shaping up as a champagne year for Reebok Classics as they continue to resuscitate popular retro basketball silhouettes. The Kamikaze II has already debuted in its OG glory, and we're going to keep seeing new colourways hit shelves and streetball courts throughout the year. This duo of deadly kicks are sure to do some damage in the paint this summer as well as snap a few necks on the street. A white, blue and orange colourway is coupled with a neon green number here, and if you're desperate to draw a Shawn Kemp connection you could see the greens as repping Kemp's beloved Seattle SuperSonics and the whites as an ode to Oklahoma City, where the Sonics relocated to. UPDATE: A new 'Fish Market' Kamikaze II has entered Reebok's retro range. It draws inspiration from the Pike Place Fish Market and the fresh pacific salmon found there – key factors in the success of Seattle's fishing industry. Fast streaks of red bounced off a scaly silver upper are complemented by an icy blue sole, combining to make this Kamikaze one worth grabbing the rod and reel out for.
This fishy Kamikaze II is set to release february 15 at select Reebok retailers.
