There has been one shoe that has drawn the boys at Crooked Tongues into this whole game, the shoe that has touched all of our hearts, the PUMA Clyde. The obvious reasons are there for this collaboration, through the shoe‘s affiliation with the old school b-boy world, but also the fact that the shoe had its second Renaissance during the early 90s in the UK.
The inspiration for the first two releases draws straight from the bboy heritage, the 'money' green and the classic b-boy burgundy and grey combo (New York City Breakers - Savannah suits in Beat Street). Then there are the more subtle inspirations in there with the Electro packaging influenced foot beds and numeration.
Other details include the contrast stitching and bright outsoles, the shoes come with three sets of thin style and three sets of fat style laces.
