Following on the heels of its first success collaboration in 2003, PUMA has recollaborated with celebrated Chinese lifestyle brand Shanghai Tang to create a colorful new shoe, the Shanghai Tang Peony.
Drawing on Shanghai Tang’s mission to inject modernity, sophistication and relevance into ancient Chinese culture, the limited edition women’s running flat utilizes an ubiquitous Chinese peony flower print for its upper in two distinct colorways – blue and red. The famous peony print has a strong association with Chinese culture and has been a fashion staple of Chinese fashion since the 1960’s.
Inspired by PUMA’s 5000m racing shoe, this special rendition creates a unique look with luxurious crackled detailing, silver lining and color pops on the track racing outsole.
