Referred to as In Collaboration With Ourselves (I.C.W.O.) – the unique series is a testament to PUMA’s strong design focus and the company’s commitment to the unexpected. The collection features three distinct shoes that showcase PUMA’s modern vision through innovative design choices.
The series is a study of design without limitations and expectations. Inspiration for the I.C.W.O. shoes came from different aspects of motion – speed, traction, and velocity – these concepts were interpreted into silhouettes at the outermost end of the design spectrum. The Lizzard explores the concept of traction with a dominating outsole design comprised of one inch high density cone shaped spikes resulting in an elevated yet wearable shoe.
Completing the platform-style outsole are soccer studs strategically placed throughout the spikes for secure footing and a distinct footprint. The aggressive outsole is contrasted by a low profile upper that yields flexibility and comfort through various textured leather combinations and tonal overlays.
